My name is Frankie Rose, and I am a 17-year old high school student from New York City. In March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I discovered a new passion that helped pass the time: baking cookies. I began to bake a fresh batch daily, tweaking each part of the recipe until I made the “perfect cookie.” My family loved them, almost clearing the plate every night. Baking cookies was the highlight of my lockdown and a way to have fun at home.

I wanted to share my “perfect cookie” with my local community, so I started delivering free cookies to the other residents in my apartment building and my neighbors on NextDoor. Through baking cookies, I have built a community of amazing supporters that keep Cookies4Covid running.
